CORPORATE TRAINING

Alberta Basic Security Training ( ABST)

This course will prepare you for your provincial exam and get you job ready as a security professional in Alberta. The course goes beyond just reading pages and pages of information and contains real world scenarios and examples. Write the Ministry exam from your home.

Advanced Security Training

This 24-hour course is mandatory for all individuals who hold a security worker license and use handcuffs to perform their duties. It’s a required condition that must be added to any Security Worker license through the Registrar, Security Services Act.

Marine Security

Maritime security is a crucial element of port safety. Students will learn how to employ best practices that protect vessels and establish a safe and secure environment under the Marine Transportation Security Act, US MARSEC and other maritime safety regulations.

Combatives Level I-III

Students are taught the core concepts, disciplines and techniques of self-defence most suitable for the Law Enforcement Community at a high-value, progressive pace.

Active Assault & Shooter Awareness

In this course, students are taught how to protect those around them using relevant tactics and respond in these emergency events, which are unpredictable and prone to evolving very quickly.

Bike Patrol

This course enables students to provide effective bike patrol using up-to-date basic skills, riding and safety techniques in both day-to-day and emergency situations.

Crowd Management

Effective crowd management is essential during festivals, concerts or other gatherings where small, medium and large crowds must be safely managed or moved. This course equips students with the fundamentals of crowd control in a variety of circumstances.

Searching & Patrol Techniques

This course lays the groundwork for security training. Students will learn how to develop and trust their instincts, effectively identify illegal activity and perform searches that maintain high standards of public safety.

Bomb Threats & Emergency Scenario Training

Students will learn the safety protocols for responding to explosive device threats using best practices. This course will also touch on emergency response to natural disasters, industrial accidents and anti-terrorism.

Tactical Communication & Non-Violent Crisis Intervention

This course teaches students how to diffuse and de-escalate potentially dangerous confrontations using essential communication skills based on dialogue, demeanour, conflict resolution and mediation.

Loss Prevention Program

Students will be taught the fundamentals of loss prevention, from retail risks, shoplifting and controlling merchandise theft to providing effective problems and solutions.

Bylaw Enforcement

Students will learn the history, legislation, concepts and terminology central to bylaw enforcement required for practical, real-life application.
